In an interview with the Maryland Coast Dispatch, Ocean Downs General Manager Bobbi Sample said the first weekend of the expanded facility was a big success. The expansion offers 10 live tables, including blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, craps and roulette. Ocean Downs, one of the first group of casinos to open in Maryland in 2011, was the only one of the six casinos in the state to operate without table games, offering only electronic table games among 800 video gaming machines on the casino floor.
The newly rebranded Oceans Downs Casino in Berlin, Maryland in the state’s Eastern Shore region unveiled its 35,000-square-good expansion the first week of January, featuring 270 new video slots as well as a first for the property formerly known as the Casino at Ocean Downs-live table games.
